HELENA MOORE | SOPRANO

Helena Moore is a British soprano. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with distinction, after studying at Trinity College Cambridge, and was awarded an entrance scholarship to the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She was a Garsington Alvarez Young Artist in 2022, performing in Rusalka and Così fan tutte. In 2023 she was selected as a Leeds Lieder Young Artist, working with Julius Drake, Joseph Middleton, and Joan Rodgers. The previous year, she was a Ludlow English Song Festival Artist, working with Iain Burnside. She performs regularly with ensembles such as the Dunedin consort, English Consort, and Endelienta Baroque, and recently made her Danish debut singing Messiah solos for the Henrikes Drengekor with Ensemble Midvest. In 2020, Helena reached the semifinals of the Kathleen Ferrier competition, and was nominated for the song prize. Recent performance highlights include Strauss Four Last Songs and Mahler Symphony No. 4 with Barnes Festival Orchestra for the closing concert of the Barnes Festival, and a solo recital of baroque repertoire with Laurence Cummings for Kings Cross Summer Sounds Festival 2022.
